A new field has been added to the Product File – Packaging screen. This new field is called “Sell As Multiples”. If this field is set then the product can only be sold in multiples of this field.
For example: if the Sell as Multiples is set to 5 then this product can only be sold in multiples of 5, i.e. 5, 10, 15 etc.
When a line is added to a sale that is for a product marked “Sell As Multiples” the system will do the following:
Point of Sale
A line can only be added to a sale if the Quantity entered is divisible by the ‘Sell As Multiples’. Otherwise a message “Not divisible by Sell As Mutiples Qty: XXX” will be displayed.
Invoice Entry / Mail Order Entry
A line can only be added to a sale if the Quantities in the Order, Ship or Back order Quantity are divisible by the ‘Sell As Multiples’. Otherwise a message “Not divisible by Sell As Mutiples Qty: XXX” will be displayed.
Electronic Order Auto Process
Orders are skipped when it tries to create a line with an Order, Ship or Back Order Quantity that is not divisible by ‘Sell As Multiples’. If it is not divisible, then this counts as not allowing the order to be automatically processed, and will need be loaded and processed manually through Standard Invoice.
Auto Back Order Invoicing
When running Auto Back Order Invoicing and the system finds Back Order/s with an Order, Ship Quantity of Back Order Quantity that is not divisible by the set amount, these products are skipped.
