A new configuration has been added to the Security Backup Configuration screen, which allows users to select what type of transaction should be backed up.
It’s called ‘Type’ and is available for both ‘On Invoice’ and ‘On Picking Slip’ selections, with the following options:
- Sales (Default)
- Transfers
- Both
This change gives your site the ability to have emails sent out for Transfers, as well as Sales. When configured, emails will be sent out on the following conditions:
ON INVOICE CONFIGURED
Type Set to ‘Both’
- Point of Sale Invoice created
- Point of Sale Transfer created
- Invoice/Mail Order printed
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer printed
Type Set to ‘Sales’
- POS Invoice (Sale, not Transfer) created
- Invoice/Mail Order printed
Type set to ‘Transfers’
- Point of Sale Transfer created
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer printed
ON PICKING SLIP CONFIGURED
Type Set to ‘Both’
- Invoice/Mail Order created as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order created as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer created as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer created as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
- Invoice/Mail Order Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
Type Set to ‘Sales’
- Invoice/Mail Order created as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order created as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
- Invoice/Mail Order Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
Type set to ‘Transfers’
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer created as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer created as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Do Not Print’ OR
- Invoice/Mail Order Transfer Authorised and completed as ‘Picking Slip – Print Immediately’
Note: The ability to set the ‘Method’ for Security Backup remains an ACR updateable only field. As such, only we can activate this on a given site. Also, just a reminder, the email sent is not always an exact copy of what would normally be printed. It does not include things such as office copies, delivery copies, etc.
