Some changes have been made to how Pay Allocations can be created/modified in the Payroll System. When the “Trans Type” is “Income” and the “Income Type” is “Amount” then the following Effects will not be valid:
- Holidays Effect : Holidays Taken
- Holidays Effect : Both
- Flexitime Effect : Flexitime Taken
- Personal/Carers Leave Effect : Personal/Carers Leave Taken
- Work Cover Effect : Work Cover Taken
- Long Service Effect : Long Service Taken
When the user clicks on Save, if any of the above combinations are selected, a message will be displayed and the record will not be saved.
The message will read:
The “XXXX XXXX Effect” selection of “Allocation Name” is not valid for the Trans Type of Income and Income Type of Amount.
The prompt will then be set to the Effects dropdown that is not a valid selection, ready for the user to modify it.
