A change has been made to how comments can be added to invoices. Product Line Comments (comments added using the ;C function) can no longer be added as the first line of an invoice. They must be added after a Product Line. It is recommended to use the Top Comment Function (;C+ function) instead. If a user attempts to add a Product Comment to the first line the will get the following message:
- Selecting Yes will add a Top Comment (comment added using the ;C+ function).
- Selecting No will cancel the adding comment function.
When an Electronic Order is received that has a Product Line Comment (L2 Line Comment) that is before the first Product Line the system will automatically load this as a Top Comment.
Note: This includes when an Electronic Order is automatically processed.
