How to determine what Copies of Invoices will be printed or emailed with eDocuments.

When Printing Invoices it can be difficult to determine what versions will be printed and what versions will be emailed when using eDocuments. The attached Matrix has been designed to help demystify this.

Which versions of an Invoice will be created, which will physically print, and which will be sent by email is determined by how the Ship To customer is setup in Customer Maintenance. Factors in deciding what will print include:

  • Does it have a different Bill To customer setup?
  • Does it have H/O Copy ticked?
  • Does it have Delivery Copy Ticked?
  • Is there an Email address setup under eDocuments for the Invoice Type?

By using the below Matrix you will be able to easily determine how many copies you will get,  what will print, and what will be sent by email.
