This is a new menu item, which will be similar in appearance to ‘Product Maintenance ALTR’, but is a limited access screen for viewing or editing product information only.
Using menu security, a site administrator could, for example, prevent some users from accessing ‘Product Maintenance ALTR’ and instead provide access to the ‘Product Editor ALTR’, where the administrator would have more finite control over the editing of existing products.
On the maint screen, the fields that are editable and buttons that are available (and by implication editable on the opened window) are controlled by a separate site configuration.
N.b. If menu security on this menu item is set to ‘Add’ or ‘Delete’, it will act as if it is set to ‘Edit’ instead.
