A new reporting feature has been added to the system. This is called Export Weekly Sales by Item. It is located under the Reports Menu, then under Sales Reports.
When run, it will first display statistical information broken down over a 7 week span.
This report is designed so that users can export Sales and Short Quantities for products within a 7 week period, to a tab delimited file with the following columns:
- Product ID
- Product Description
- Wk1 Qty
- Wk2 Qty
- Wk3 Qty
- Wk4 Qty
- Wk5 Qty
- Wk6 Qty
- Wk7 Qty
- Wk1 Short Qty
- Wk2 Short Qty
- Wk3 Short Qty
- Wk4 Short Qty
- Wk5 Short Qty
- Wk6 Short Qty
- Wk7 Short Qty
IMPORTANT NOTE: Only products that were part of a sale transaction, or have been ‘shorted’ within that period of time will be displayed on this report, and subsequently exported.
Once users click on the button Export, they can select where to save the file (this will default to the user’s local document directory), and what name to give it.
