New functionality has been added into the RF Guns – Picking Slips program to assist pickers in continuing picking other products if they are waiting for one or more products inventory to be replenished on the warehouse shelf.
Should a picker be prompted to pick a product, and it’s shelf location is empty, they can choose to skip that product by keying in ‘K’, which will then allow them to proceed to the next product on the pick slip. In the interim that shelf can be replenished by other warehouse staff.
Once the picker has reached the end of the picking slip, they will then be prompted to pick any items that they chose to skip previously. Please note that the skipped products will be prompted in the reverse order, to allow the picker to physically backtrack the path they previously took through the warehouse.
