Users can now view a history log of changes to the selected Customer within Customer Maintenance. This will be a valuable tool to use to identify when/who has updated the Customer record.To access the ‘Change Log History’ menu item simply navigate to the top Options menu in Customer Maintenance and select ‘Change Log History’.
The User can select the desired field from the top right drop down list to view the following information:
- From – This will display what the field was populated with before the change
- To – This will display what the field was changed to
- Source – This will display the source of the change:
- Customer Maintenance
- Import/Export Utility
- Customer File Manipulator
- Operator- Which Operator made the change
- Real Date/Time – The real date/time the change was made
Upon entering ‘Change Log History’ the default selection will be that of the most latest change to the Customer.
In the following image you will see that the Customers Credit Limit has changed from $0 to $5000 along with the Source,Operator and the Date/Time.
Note: The log history will not be backdated so will store Change history from the release of this update.
