Customer Alternate Search Key

A new Alternate Search Key can now be set to the Customers Phone Number/Mobile Number to assist Users when searching for a Customer in Customer Maintenance, Short Term Debtor Maintenance and Valued Customer Maintenance.

The Alternate Search key is an ACR only configuration that will set the alternate search key to following fields:

  • Phone Number Only
  • Mobile Number Only
  • Mobile Phone/Phone Number (This means the system will first check the Mobile number field and if this is empty the system will then check the Phone Number field)
  • None

If more than one Customer has the same alternate search key (same telephone/mobile phone number) an index form will be displayed so the User can select the correct Customer Account.

Note: Your system will be defaulted to use the Mobile Number/ Phone Number field. If you wish to change your configuration please email your request to training@acr.com.au.
