Customer and Supplier Index Screen menu options > Change My Configuration

Our Global Search functionality now applies to not only Product, but also now includes Customer and Supplier. Users can configure the columns to be displayed and available search conditions when the Index screen is displayed. This will override any filters/conditions set in the default site wide configuration Index Search Configuration

Whilst this applies to all 3 types of Index screen yet our examples in this update are focusing on the newly created Customer and Supplier functionality. Whilst in the Index screen, select ‘Options’ in the top left of the screen then select ‘Change My Configuration’.

Once selected, this will display the Search Configuration screen applicable with the Search Type automatically set to either Customer or Supplier. 

Search Columns
This allows for information to be shown in the columns across the screen from left to right. Note: mandatory fields can be moved to any position in the list

Search Conditions
This allows for the user to add conditions to the search when performing an Expanded Search. The Fields within these Search parameters can then be sorted by being moved up and down.
Users also have the ability to reset the options back to the defaults set in the Index Search Configuration by selecting the ‘Reset back to Default’ buttons.
