Invoicing System > Carrier Max Dimension

A ‘Max Dimension’ field has been created within ‘Carrier Maintenance’ whereby a dimension in millimetres can be entered per Carrier. The system will then utilise this value when a Product is added into Invoicing to ensure the Carrier can handle the Products dimensions.

Checks will be made of the Ship Qty to determine which Packaging dimensions are to be checked against the Carrier. The system will then take into account the largest dimension (across Length, Width and Height) and compare it to the Carrier’s Max Dimension value.

Example- If there are 10 Inners per Outer, and the Ship Qty is 11, the system will use the highest dimension from both, one Outer plus one Inner.

If the dimension exceeds the Max Dimension set for the Carrier, the User will be warned with the following message, and can then determine if they wish to continue. Pressing No will take the User back to the Ship Qty field.

Note: Electronic Orders will not auto process if the dimensions exceed the maximum set.
