There has been a change made to how the Barcode Maintenance screen looks and functions. These changes have been made to make it easier to maintain barcodes, add barcodes, see which barcodes have been setup and the type of barcode’s that have been setup.
The Bar Code maintenance screen now displays a list of all barcodes that have been entered for this product. It also shows the Priority (Primary or Secondary), the type and the Precedence of each barcode. A status will also show if the barcode has just been added or has been modified.
To add a new barcode, select the Add button. This will create a new line in barcode maintenance where you can either:
- Enter the barcode in the “Barcode” field before setting the Priority, Type and Type preference using the drop down fields.
- Select the “Generate Barcode” button which will prompt for the type of barcode you wish to generate.
To Delete a barcode, select the barcode you wish to delete and press the “Remove” button
