The system has been upgraded to be able to despatch Pallets and Cartons simultaneously. This will be based on how the Carrier is configured within ‘Carrier Maintenance’. If a supported Label type is selected, labels will print for both Pallets and Cartons.
If ‘Despatch Pallets’ is True. This will then also show a message that states one of the following
- ‘Along with Cartons’
- ‘Or Cartons’
Whether a Carrier can despatch both ‘Pallets and Cartons’ OR ‘Pallets or Cartons’ will be determined based on if, and how, other fields within Carrier Maintenance are set. For more information please click here.
To keep a record of cartons, both included in pallets and individually, we have introduced a ‘Statistical Cartons’ field.
There are two configurations related to this field set in Misc Configurations>Despatch>Statistical Count:
- Number of Cartons per Pallet: Sites can key in the default number of cartons per pallet and the system will then automatically calculate (number of pallets entered x default cartons per pallet + any individual cartons) and pre fill this into the ‘Statistical Count’ field. This will default to 1 on installation
- Editable: This tickbox will control if Users are able to edit the statistical count field. This will default to True on installation.
The ‘Statistical Cartons’ field will be displayed within the Despatch system, Confirmations system, RF Units, Order Search and be utilised for reporting ‘CTNS’ in the Picker/Packer Report, the Despatch Register and Zone Summary printed on invoices if configured.
Note: Track N Deliver has been updated to allow Invoices despatched with Pallets and Cartons to be added to a run.
