Distributors Stock Maintenance has received a series of enhancements aimed at improving usability, data consistency, and efficiency when maintaining product records. The updates below introduce more control over web data, streamline product setup, and reduce repetitive manual entry.

Web Description now Editable with Cloud Sync
The Head Office Web Description field is now editable directly within Distributors Stock Maintenance. When updated, the change is automatically reflected in the cloud database, ensuring consistency between local and web-facing data. Once initially created, this description will no longer be overwritten by GS1 updates.

Price Code 1 now Linked to Cloud RRP
Price Code 1 (Inclusive) is now aligned with the RRP stored in the Head Office database and synchronised to the cloud.

Primary Barcode Automatically Assigned
On first-time product creation, the system will now automatically assign the Primary Barcode based on the “Sold As” unit. For example, if a product is set up as “OUTERS”, the OUTERS barcode will be assigned as the Primary Barcode. This applies only during initial setup and will not change if the Sold As value is edited later.

Web Categories now Embedded within the Main Screen
The Web Category section has been brought directly into the main Stock Maintenance screen.

Duplicate From Similar Product
A new “Duplicate Fields From” function within the Options file menu has been introduced to streamline product setup. Users can select an existing product and copy data into the current item, with flexible control over what is duplicated:
• All fields
• Specific field groups (e.g. pricing, classifications, levies)
• Individual fields

Sort Key Automatically Populated
The Sort Key will now automatically populate from the Manufacturer SKU when a product is first created.
