There have been a number of changes made to the fields in the Access button of Customer maintenance.
Stand Alone Username and Password
- The username field has been changed so that now it is able to be up to 30 characters long. When creating new usernames a check will now be done to make sure the username is unique to this customer.
- The Password field has been changed so that now it is able to be up to 30 characters long. When setting a new password it can now contain upper and lower case characters.
Order Express Username and Password
- A change has been made so that when the Order Express Enabled tickbox is selected, the Order Express Username and password become mandatory.
- When creating a new Order Express Username, the system will check to make sure this name is unique to this customer.
- When setting a new password you can now use upper and lower case characters in the password.
Note: the new rules about usernames being unique to the customer and Passwords being able to contain upper and lower case characters also apply to creating or updating customer records in Export / Import utility.
