Wireless Warehouse Picking Gun tips.

ACR has the ability to integrate wireless warehouse picking with our Invoicing front end. We utilise Motorola branded warehouse picking guns. While these guns are a tried and true warehouse picking solution they can sometimes require a little attention and a reboot to keep them operating to their maximum efficiency.
There are two methods of rebooting these Warehouse guns; a warm boot and a cold boot. Each of these processes is used in different circumstances. A Warm boot will shut down the operating system and restart it. A Cold boot will completely shut down the operating system as well as the hardware before restarting both of them.

To perform a warm boot
– Press and hold the power button until the white Motorola screen shows.
– Release the power button once the screen has displayed.

To perform a cold boot
– Pop the battery out of the back of the warehouse gun. Do not remove the battery completely. It only needs to pop so the secondary clips still hold the battery into the warehouse gun.
– Press and hold the trigger and red power button together for 5 seconds
– Release the trigger and red power button
– Insert the battery back in to the Warehouse gun
