A new Screen has been developed called the Serial Number Entry Screen. This screen is used to enter Serial numbers in Invoicing, Mail Order, Confirmation System, RF Warehouse Gun Confirmation, and RF Warehouse Gun Picking.
Note: For Invoicing and Mail Order, users who are not going to be using Confirmations will need to instigate this screen by using the command ;SN on a new line in Invoicing or Mail Order Entry.
When a Serial Number/ IMEI number is required to be entered for a product, the Serial Entry screen will display. Either Scan or Key in the Serial/ IMEI numbers required for the product, and press Enter. When a Serial Number/ IMEI number is entered a check is done to make sure the number entered is not a product barcode.
For Products marked as a Phone Item in Product Maintenance – Status Flag a check is performed to ensure a 15 digit IMEI has been entered.
When a product is marked as a Serial Tracked Item, the Serial Number/ IMEI number can be either scanned or keyed in. A check will be performed to make sure that the entered serial number is available in the Stock Area that has been selected. A button with three dots will display next to the Serial Keyin box on the Serial Entry screen when opened in Invoicing, Mail order, and the Confirmation System. This will display all available Serial Numbers/ IMEI numbers for the selected product.
Note: Users cannot select entries from this screen. Users must enter serial numbers in the Serial Entry screen.
