A new menu option has been added. This menu item is called “Serial Number Output”. Running the Serial Number Output will generate a Tab Delimited text file that contains details of who the products were sold to, when they were sold, and the Serial Number that is attached to the sale.
The available qualifiers for this report are:
- Type – Allows you to select between generating a file in your Docs Directory or Emailing a text file.
- Email Address – If email is set as the type, the Email address field will become available. Enter the Email Address to send the text file to. Multiple email addresses should be separated by a comma.
- Filename – This will allow you to enter the name the file will be output to your Docs directory as. This field is mandatory. This should end in ‘.txt’
- Date From and To – Enter the date range of sales you would like to include in the output.
- Supplier From and To – Select the range of suppliers you would like to include in the output.
The fields that are included in the file that is created are:
- Date – This is the date the sale occurred.
- Invoice Number – Invoice number for the sale.
- Customer Number – The Debtor ID number for account sales.
- Customer Name – Will show the customer name. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Customer Address Line 1 – Will show the customer address. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Customer Address Line 2- Will show the customer address. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Customer State- Will show the customer address. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Customer Suburb- Will show the customer address. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Customer Postcode- Will show the customer address. If it is a Cash sale this will be the details stored for Warranty Purposes.
- Serial Number – Will display the serial number of the product where the item is not marked as a Phone item.
- IMEI – This will display the 15 digit IMEI number for products marked as Phone items.
- Product ID – This will display the Product Id for the product that the serial number / IMEI number has been recorded for.
- Product Description – This will display the Product Description for the product that the serial number / IMEI number has been recorded for.
- Sale Value – This will show the value of the sale. This is an EX GST value.
