SalesTAL​K troubleshooting tips

The ACR SalesTAL​K application allows your mobile sales reps to take order from your customers anywhere at any time. But from time to time mobile internet connectivity at customer sites may not be the best. Sales​TALK is designed to be able to handle taking an order and sending it later when you get better internet reception. We have however found that sometimes ​iPads have issues restarting their internet connection after having it drop out. If this happens to your reps have them follow the below steps. It is recommended to check if they can now send orders between each step.

  1. Check that they have the mobile phone providers​’​ name in the top left of the ​iPad screen. This shows if the iPad can see a providers tower.
  2. Have them try and open a​ new​ internet web page in Safari web browser.​
  3. Have them turn on Airplane mode on then off again on their iPad​; this can be done by going into setting​s​ and switching airplane mode on, waiting for 30 seconds then turning it off. This reboots the mobile phone ​aerials and can help re-establish your connection.
  4. Reboot your ​iPad.

If all of these steps have not worked and they are still not able to connect to the internet after doing them​,​ it is likely it is a mobile phone provider issues. However if they are able to connect to the internet but ACR is still not working your Rep should contact ACR support for further trouble shooting to help get them back operational.
