Changes have been made to how the ‘Sale Authority’ tick box works in Port Parameters. When ‘Sale Authority is selected two new tickbox’s become available. These are called ‘Cash Based Transactions’ and ‘Non-Cash Based Transactions’. These tickboxes can be selected individually or together to allow the options you required on a given port.
When ’Cash Based Transactions’ is set to True, the following payment methods become available:
- Cash
- Cheque
- EFTPOS
- Voucher
- Loyalty Vch
- Manual Card
- Other
(These are actions that pop the cash drawer.)
Note: If this is the only option selected Account Sale and COD Sale are not available sale completion options. Only the Cash Sale option will be added.
When ‘Non-Cash Based Transactions’ is set to True, the port can create an Account Sale, COD Sale, and Cash sale with the following payment methods become available:
- PayPal
- Dir Deposit
- EFTPOS
(Actions that do not require a cash drawer.)
Note: On installation, all ports that currently have ‘Sale Authority’ set to True will automatically have the two new configurations set to True.
