Statement eDoc Messages

Multiple updates have been released for Statement eDoc Messages in the following areas:

Statement eDoc Message Maintenance

New maintenance screen to create different eDoc Messages based on the severity of an overdue account. The message supports the same Merge Fields as in ‘eDocs Document Types’.

Note: On installation, a record will be created for Type ‘All Customers’. On this record, the ‘Use eDoc Message’ will be locked as True.

Debtor Statements

The system will now check for any Statement eDoc Messages to override the message used when sending out an email/fax. This only applies to the left hand side if qualifying only one customer, or for all emails/faxes on the right hand side.

The logic used to determine the Statement eDoc Message to use is the exact same as the logic used for ‘Statement Message’ (ie. Makes use of the Customer fields ‘Statement Grace Period’, ‘Exclude <Period> from next statement’, ‘Exclude <Period> for the month of <Month>’, and the configuration ‘Threshold % for Statement Message’).
