Domestic Orders

An update has been released for Domestic Orders.

The system can now automatically set the ETA on a Product line. This will happen on creation or modification of an Order, when the user presses Complete.

The system will look for any other Open Orders (Orders with a status or printed/part received that have an Order/Received or Cancelled Quantity greater than 0) with the same Supplier and Product. If these Orders have an ETA greater than or equal to the current Orders ETA, it will set the Product line ETA on the current Order to equal the lowest ETA found.

In summary, if the system works out that a Product from a given Supplier is expected at a later date then the Suppliers Lead Period, then the system will set the Product line ETA on the new Order accordingly.

Notes:The ETA is based on the first of the below fields with a value:

  • Product line ETA
  • Order ETA
  • Order Deliver Before Date
  • Order Deliver After Date
