Changes to Personal/Carer’s Leave under Fair Work Act 2009.

As you may be aware the Federal Court has recently made some changes to the accrual of Personal Carers Leave. In turn we have catered for this change within Employee Entitlements/Payroll Entry, so your Payroll Staff have the ability to implement these changes where necessary.

The basis of the change within ACR will allow Employees’ Personal/Carers Leave to be accrued in either Days OR Hours. It is extremely important to note if you change an Employee from Days to Hours (and vice versa) you will need to manually calculate and enter the balances.
