Last year Microsoft announced that the Extended Support period for Windows 7 would end on 14 January 2020. Previous to this, the end date for the Mainstream Support period was 13 January 2015 and sales of the product ended finally on 31 October 2016. Windows 8.1 will be at the end of extended support period on 10 January 2023
Windows 10 was released on 29 July 2015 and should be supported by Microsoft well into 2025, following the usual 10 year life cycle of a Windows product. We advise that our customers upgrade the Operating System of their computers to the latest version of Windows as soon as practical, as it is not guaranteed that any problem that presents itself on older operating systems will be able to be resolved without the support of Microsoft.
Please be advised to plan the upgrade of your older computer systems to Windows 10, or replace the computer systems that are not capable of running Windows 10.
