Export / Import Utility – Importing

Following on from the previous update which can be found at the following address

https://www.acr.com.au/updates/web-category-maintenance/, there have been more fields added for use in the Export / Import Utility.

If users wish to import any of the following fields, all of the following fields must exist on the import file.

  • Web Category 1 Level 1
  • Web Category 1 Level 2
  • Web Category 1 Level 3
  • Web Category 1 Level 4
  • Web Category 1 Level 5
  • Web Category 1 Level 6
  • Web Category 2 Level 1
  • Web Category 2 Level 2
  • Web Category 2 Level 3
  • Web Category 2 Level 4
  • Web Category 2 Level 5
  • Web Category 2 Level 6
  1. When importing the file, the Categories being imported must already have been created within Web Category Maintenance.
  2. Web Category 1 sets and Web Category 2 sets cannot be set to the same values.
  3. Products cannot have a Web Category 2 without a Web Category 1.  If the system finds that a set has Web Category 2 sets exist, but not Web Category 1 sets, the values will be moved from Web Categories 2 to Web Categories 1.
