The System search functionality has been updated within our newly developed Index Search Standard and Expanded Screens. Users will now find:
- When an exact match search (not a function search, such as /, ?, etc) result is given and only the one record is found, that record will always be returned. Even if the Expanded Index screen is configured to load, and has Conditions (set to True) that would normally remove it from the search result.
- Conditions and their values from a previous search will now auto apply to new searches when performed within the same menu component.
An example of this scenario would be: A user starts a new session, goes into Product Maintenance and performs a search which loads the Expanded Index screen with the last Conditions used for that User. The user then changes the Conditions and/or values. If the User then performs a new search in Product Maintenance, the Expanded Index screen will use the previous set Conditions and values. This will continue for all new searches until the User performs a new Product search in another component of the system.
