Product – Index > Options > Change My Configuration

Users can configure the columns to be displayed and available search conditions when a Product – Index screen is displayed. This will override any filters/conditions set in the default site wide configuration New Menu item > Search Configuration

Whilst in the Product – Index screen, select ‘Options’ in the top left of the screen then select ‘Change My Configuration’

This will display the following:

Search Type
Currently the only available option available in the drop down is ‘Product’.

Search Columns
This allows for what information to be shown in the columns across the screen from left to right. Note: ‘Product ID’ and ‘Product Description’ are mandatory but they can be moved to any position in the list

Search Conditions
This allows for the user to add conditions to the search when performing an Expanded Search. 

The Fields within these Search parameters can then be sorted by being moved up and down.  

User also have the ability to reset the options back to default (Once again following what is set in the ‘Search Configuration’) by selecting the ‘Reset back to Default’ buttons.
