Ordering System > Configurations

Two new buttons called ‘Order Maint’ & ‘Overseas Order Maint’ have been added to the Ordering Configuration screen. These buttons will allow the user to configure the New Order  & Overseas Order Maintenance screens

Order Maint button

A new button called ‘Order Maint’ has been added to ‘Ordering Configuration’ holding configurations relating to the new Order Maintenance. The available configuration is the Maintenance Field Precedence List, Maintenance Global Search Fields and option to default to the Current month.

Maintenance Field Precedence

Users can select which fields to include/exclude by marking the tick box true/false.

The four below fields are mandatory and will be dimmed out:

  • Order No
  • Supplier Number
  • Supplier Name
  • Status

The following fields are optional, users can tick / untick as desired 

  • Date (initially set to true)
  • Reference (initially set to true)
  • Total (initially set to true)
  • Operator (initially set to true)
  • Stock Area
  • Order ETA
  • Conversation

Maintenance Global Search Fields 

This will set what fields will be used when performing a ‘Global Search’ in Order Maintenance. This will allow a broader search pool which is beneficial when limited details are known about the Order you are trying to locate.

  • All
  • Supplier
  • Order No
  • Reference
  • Product
  • Stock Area No
  • Operator

Default Load to Current

This is a checkbox option, if it is set to True then each time ‘Order Maintenance’ is opened the Period Type will be set to “Current”. 

To explain, the new Period Type “Current” will display all open orders that have not been completed (ie not fully stock receipted, completed, replaced or deleted by a Creditor’s Month End Reset)

 

Overseas Order Maint button

A new button called ‘Overseas Order Maint’ has been added to ‘Ordering Configuration’ holding configurations relating to the new Overseas Order Maintenance. The available configuration is the Maintenance Field Precedence List, Maintenance Global Search Fields and option to default to the Current month.
