Within Product Maintenance a new field called ‘Search Extn’ has been created. This will allow users to enter extra details about the Product to enhance the system Global Search performance.
Report Generator and Export / Import Utility
In support of the new ‘Search Extn’ field within Product Maintenance, the following field has been added within the Export / Import Utility.
- Product Search Extension
System Search > Product Search Extn
When performing a Product Description search, the system will now take into account the Product Full Description and the Search Extension field. When the Search Extension field has a value, on performing the system search function, the system will add the value to the end of the Full Description with a single space in between.
