Ordering Set Length Products

Ordering Set Length Products has slightly changed due to the new addition.  When Ordering products marked as a Set Length Product, a few rules apply:

For Products marked Recording:

  • Quantities entered do not have to be Lengths.
  • If Lengths are entered, they do not have to exist for the Product.

For Products marked Tracking, Set Length Tracking items cannot be used under the following circumstances:

  • Order Entry from PDE – Set Length Tracking items will not validate.
  • Order Creation from Min/Max – Set Length Tracking items will be ignored on creation.
  • Order Creation from History – Set Length Tracking items will be ignored on creation.
  • Quantities entered must be a Length, and must already exists in the Product record.
