Creditor Payment Summary > new menu item

A new menu has been created called Creditor Payment Summary and will allow sites to manage the printing/reprinting of Remittance Advices and Requisitions. This new menu item will load two screens: An Index screen, and a secondary screen. By default, both screens will load to the right of the main menu.

If the monitor does not have the room for this, the Index screen will load over the top of the main menu instead.

The Index screen will list past payments, showing the Operator initial and Amount. Users can mouse over the Operator initial to see the Operator name. Only payments made in the current month, plus the last 12 months (from the time of this update) will be visible.

The secondary screen will show the payment details. Users are able to print/reprint the Report, Requisitions and Remittance Advices. Users will not be asked if they want to deduct Discount. The answer to this question is stored from when the payment details were entered within Creditor Auto Payments.

The Requisitions Button simply allows users to print out the required Requisitions.

The Remittance Advice Button

If Remittance Advices have been printed before, then the Creditor Payment Summary window will show, allowing users to select Creditor/s to reprint. In this case, it will not output any Electronic Remittance files.

If the Remittance Advices have never been printed before meaning there are no Remittance date/time and Operator details displayed, then the normal qualifier screen will show. If the selected record was created within Cash Payments Entry, ‘Deduct Discount’ will be set to No and unable to be changed. On generating the report the system can also output Electronic Remittance files if the Supplier is configured.

The Cancel button

When the cancel button is used, the system will store the Date/time and Operator details, making all buttons other than Quit unavailable.

If there is currently an unprocessed Creditor Auto Payment, then the first record on the Index screen will say ‘Current’. In this case the secondary screen will be the actual ‘Creditor Auto Payments’ screen. Switching between the first record and to any other record in the Index screen will switch between the two possible secondary screens.

Users should note that only one person can be within the ‘Creditor Auto Payments’ menu at a time. If someone else is already in there, then ‘Creditor Auto Payments’ will not load as a secondary screen.
