Within Advance Global Parameters we have created a new configuration called Quote Redraw – Set Lines to Full Mode. This configuration will control what the system does regarding pricing when a Quote is redrawn into the Point of Sale system.
The options are:
- Always (currently set for all existing sites)
- Price / Discount Mismatch (Will be the Default for new sites)
- As Per Quote
The Point of Sale System will now acknowledge this configuration when redrawing a Quote and behave accordingly:
- When set to Always – this means all lines will be set to Full Mode and carry the stored discount from the product file or value entered upon quote creation. This is the current system behaviour for existing sites. When ticked on, Full mode does not allow users to apply a discount using the D+value function.
- When set to Price / Discount Mismatch – only those lines whose Price and Discount no longer match current values (ie Product File, Pricing Rules) will be set to Full Mode. When matching, the full mode will be unticked meaning users will be able to apply a discount using the D+value function.
- When set to As Per Quote – The status of the Full Mode, including the stored discount from the product file or value entered for every line, will come from the status set on creation of the Quote. Meaning, when full mode is unticked users can use the discount D+value function to add a discount.
