Payroll > Post Year End Adjustment

An adjustment can now be made to an Employee’s reportable Income in a previous Financial Year. To do so navigate to the Payroll Menu > Tasks > Post Year End Adjustment and follow the below steps:

Select the ‘New’ button to enter an adjustment. 

Bring up the Employee by entering the Employee ID or searching and then select which Financial Year you need to make the adjustment to from the dropdown box.

From here Users can adjust the following information:

  • Income
  • Tax
  • Super
  • Extra Super
  • FBT
  • Lump Sum A
  • Lump Sum A Type (Select from the dropdown)
  • Lump Sum B
  • Lump Sum D
  • Lump Sum E
  • Allowances (Press the Add/Remove button and then enter the Code/Description/Amount)
  • Deductions (Press the Add/Remove button and then enter the Code/Description/Amount)
  • ETP details (Press the Add/Remove button and then enter the Date/Tax free Component/Taxable Component/Tax Amount)

After making all required adjustments for that Employee the User can select Complete. In doing so they will be prompted with the Single Touch Payroll Declaration Screen to authorise and send the file to the Tax Office.

To view Previous Adjustments on the main screen Users can enter the Financial Year in the bottom left box and press ‘Find’. Previous Adjustments will be listed with the date/time and User. These adjustments can also be displayed using the ‘Display button’.
