A new function has been created within the ACR system allowing a PIN to be created against a User. This will enable sites to validate the Salesperson/Operator against a Sale creating a system record.
In support of this new functionality, changes to the following ACR only System Configurations include:
System Operations (ACR only)
A new configuration for User Pin has been created within System Operations and is called ‘User Pin Minimum Length’. This will default to 4 characters in length upon installation.
Invoicing and Mail Order Systems (ACR only)
A new configuration for User Pin has been created within Invoicing / Mail Order and is called ‘Verify Sale User’. This will default to ‘None’ upon installation, and can also be configured to ‘By Operator’ or ‘By Salesperson’.
Adv. Global Parameters (ACR only)
A new configuration for User Pin has been created within System configuration > Adv Global Parameters and is called ‘Verify Sale User’. This will default to ‘None’ upon installation, and can also be configured to ‘By Operator’ or ‘By Salesperson’.
