User Maintenance > new User PIN functionality

A new function has been created within the ACR system allowing a PIN to be created against a User. This will enable sites to validate the Salesperson/Operator against a Sale creating a system record.

Within User Maintenance a new button has been created called ‘Set Pin’ which will allow a PIN to be set for the User. This created PIN can then be used within the system (if configured) to verify a Sale / Invoice upon completion.

When a Users’ PIN is being set, please note:

  • The set length of the PIN is validated against the Configuration set. (The default length is 4 characters) 
  • Similar to Passcode behaviour, users will need to enter then re enter their new PIN at the time of set up
  • An information screen will be displayed to confirm a new PIN has been successfully set
